To avoid this, it’s best to notify the daycare or school at least two weeks before the planned absence. Additionally, this would avoid creating the appearance that you are kidnapping your children. In addition, it would be best to avoid the child’s school attendance, as it will likely cause distractions and result in a reduced level of parenting time.
